About the publisher
Founded in 1911 by orphaned entrepreneur John V. Cavalero with only a fifth-grade education, Catholic Book Publishing has grown into the premier publisher of St. Joseph Edition Bibles, Missals, and prayer books. The company printed the first Catholic Bible in the United States in 1949. Now in its fourth generation, the Cavalero family continues to produce high-quality, affordable Catholic resources in English and Spanish.
